We're more than a month into 2025 and some people may be slipping on their New Year's resolutions. We talk to Gwendolyn Bounds, author of "Not Too Late: The Power of Pushing Limits at Any Age" about how at age 47 she made a resolution to get in shape, ultimately transforming from a non-athletic person to an obstacle course racer. She has tips on making fitness goals and sticking to them.

SUPER BOWL FOOD PRICES

The Wells Fargo Super Bowl Food Report lays out how much popular food and beverages cost as we approach the big game. We'll hear from one of the report authors with the report highlights as well as tips to save money on your party spread.

No matter what else is going on in the world, we can always rely on the fact that there will be deals on things we need. From savings on everything you need for the big game to savings on your sweetheart, to President’s Day sales, February offers lots of opportunities to save big. Shopping expert Trae Bodge recommends what to buy this month.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION PREPAREDNESS

The wildfires in California left many fleeing their homes with just the clothes on their backs and tragically some didn't make it out in time. It's a reminder of the importance of preparation in case of an emergency evacuation. We'll discuss what to have in your emergency kit, the most important items to have with you during evacuation, and other ways to be prepared.
 

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7:   

SUPER BOWL PREVIEW

The Kansas City Chiefs are aiming for an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl title going up against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. Kendrick Lamar will headline the halftime show. We'll have a preview of what to expect.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH: TWIN SISTER DOCTORS SEEK TO INCREASE REPRESENTATION IN MEDICINE

Dr. Delana Wardlaw and identical twin Dr. Elana McDonald make up just a small percent of the 2% of black female doctors in the U.S. But they want there to be more! We'll hear from them about the importance of representation in the medical field and what additional work needs to be done to increase the number of black doctors.

SAFELY VISITING AMERICA'S NATIONAL PARKS

Millions of people safely visit America's National Parks each year but sometimes people put their lives at risk. Though deaths are low compared to the number of people who visit the parks, they happen. We'll hear from experts on the safety measures you can take.
